A Change of Pace, A Change of Place
Rebecca had been working for a high-powered software company in Marin County. She lived in San Francisco, but wanted a change from the fast-paced, city lifestyle. For as long as she can remember, Rebecca has been an outdoors person who loves the water and the mountains. She was ready for a change in her life, one that would allow her to indulge her love of swimming and skiing. With its beautiful mountains and lakes, the Tahoe/Truckee area was the perfect choice for this lively and talented professional.
A Bay Area Tradition
The eldest child of two doctors, Rebecca was raised in Novato. Instilled with a passion for learning, education has always been a dominant part of her life. Armed with her bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell, Rebecca pursued her interest in marketing through positions with the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee/Donner Chambers of Commerce. While working for the latter, Rebecca attended night school at the University of Nevada to earn her MBA, completing studies in finance, investment analysis and venture capital.
The Good Life
Rebecca met her future husband, Eric, here in the Truckee area. He is a licensed general contractor, and he and Rebecca built their first house together on a lot with magnificent 180-degree views of the Truckee mountain range. The couple continued to buy and sell homes in the area, becoming well acquainted with the many different neighborhoods and their unique properties. With the birth of daughters Madelyn and Emily the two settled into a happy family life in their scenic surroundings, making the most of all the summer and winter activities available.
